The EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Group brings together foreign policy institutions and European research centres to encourage political and security-related dialogue on non-proliferation, disarmament and arms control.
About us
A network at the service of European security policy
Established to support the implementation of the EU Strategy against the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, the Group functions as a network of think tanks and academic institutions across the Union.
Its work combines rigorous research with sustained dialogue: annual conferences, consultative meetings, training for policymakers, and a peer-reviewed series of non-proliferation and disarmament papers.

Fourteenth EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Conference
Hosted by the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) on 10–11 November 2025, the fourteenth edition featured an interdisciplinary agenda spanning weapons of mass destruction, conventional arms, space security, emerging technologies and regional security dynamics, including remarks by IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi.
